Just press the green flag. (:) *NOTICE* This is also going to be posted in a lil' short-story thing on my Watt Pad. If you're into the DSMP and are a fanfiction nerd, feel free to take a gander at it! The link to the coded Watt Pad link is in my Scratch profile description. (Yeah, don't ask. Scratch life gets complicated like that sometimes. XD) (Go inside for a surprise. :3)
~The Court of Mother Nature~ By Yours Truly [:] Resurfacing from the toxicity of the ocean, I make my way out the door of my jaded home. The first steps onto the concrete path are fragile; a selkie walking on the sandy banks for the first time in years. The bahia plants brush and tickle my legs, like troubadours telling of a thousand tales with their silent shouts. A breeze saunters over to where I stand, commanding respect from the surrounding flora. Leaves are like picturesque sacrifices, floating and skimming down to their nomadic graveyards among the grass and insects. Some of these offerings whisk on and around me in welcome; they use their last mortal breaths to smile at me from behind shrouded eyes. The sunset illuminates their courageous figures- at the command of the wind, they dance in and out of the beams with a whimsical, child-like aura. This magikal performance pacifies my soul; my homelife fears and sorrow melt away on the heat of the sunbeams, and are whisked into oblivion by the wind's mighty hands. And, though I can't be entirely sure, I seem to hear the faint sound of some forest-bound orchestra traveling through the evening air. Trees are violins, and a wind chime at my back is a soprano, whispering her tantalizing melody...What does she say? It...It sounds like... "Welcome home, my princess."
