This means that the innocent men will tell the truth while the murderer will lie. If Andy was lying about Brady being the killer, then Brady would be a truth-teller and Cody would be lying, since both Brady and Cody contradict each other. That means that there are two men lying and therefore two killers, which is impossible according to witnesses who said there was only one killer. Now, if Brady was lying about Cody being the murderer, then both Andy's remark about Brady being the killer and Cody's remark about Brady lying are true. According to Sing, that truth-tellers are innocent and the killer will always lie.
