This means your BG is under 4 mmol/L or 72 mg/dl (correct me if I'm wrong on that). Your body doesn't have enough sugar reaching its cells causing you to be low on energy and a number of other symptoms. It's very unsafe to have low BG and it can be treated with fast acting sugar like juice. Instead of calling hypoglycaemia or hypo or low blood sugar, you can just call it "low."
