Gravitational Simulator — A Polished Demonstration of Newton’s Law of Gravitation ===================== About: This project is a visualization of Newton’s Law of Gravitational Motion (F = (GMm)/r^2). It creates a highly accurate* and interactive model of the gravity between a planet and its moon. *Well, at least before Einstein made things complicated. ===== To Use: Use the up and down arrow to zoom it. Space to pause simulation. Drag the moon and the planet to adjust their positions and use the sliders to change the variables.
Credit to PawnMate314 for the original project. I just made it so earth is affected by the moon's pull. It's probably inaccurate, but I don't know how the math really works in the first place, so I can't check if it's correct. The sun and other planets don't exist :') Two things: * It breaks if you zoom in all the way. * It slowly drifts off screen. If anyone wants to fix/remove these effects, feel free. This project is only a remix of someone else's work, anyways. (though I doubt anyone's really gonna see this.)
