you can drag the pokeball to your starter and get points after you have selected a starter. You do that by clicking R for rowlet. C for charmander. F for froakie. At the start, you can also directly click on the one you want. The starters will evolve at some point, and you can switch starters at any time. After you have reached 50 points, the starters will no longer evolve.
its a bit glitchy, you kinda have to circle the pokeball around the pokemon first.
