First: You're here! Next: In the making! Previous: Ha! As if I'll make a prologue until I finish the series! Chapter 1 Autumn's brown hair swayed as she grabbed her backpack and started the door. "Bye Mom!" she shouted. It was one of the last few days of school until the summer, then she would begin 7th grade. She began to jog as she saw her friend, Kylie, a little ways ahead. She hadn't known that Kylie was a fallen angel, as Kylie had always kept her wings hidden. "Hi, Autumn!" Kylie said happily, once Autumn caught up to her. Autumn knew Kylie was unique, as Kylie was the only one in the grade with lilac eyes. Autumn always wondered, 'Do different eye colors have different powers?' because Kylie seemed to charm and convince so many people. Autumn affected plants; she could help them grow a little faster. Her mother was a gardener, and she always helped her mother with the garden after school. Once they got to the school, Kylie was a short step ahead and didn't hear Autumn fall. While Kylie walked into the school, Autumn was left behind, missing homeroom and making it 15 minutes late to class. Mrs. Cievia, her homeroom teacher marked her 7th absence this month. Her math teacher, Mr. Lavie, was not happy with her. The rest of the class was taking the state test. "Sorry, Mr. Lavie!" she whispered. About an hour later, Autumn grabbed lunch and placed her lunch money on the counter, and rushed to sit by Kylie. "Kylie, where were you when I fell this morning? I missed homeroom, and I didn't finish my state test in math!" "I didn't hear you fall!" Kylie loudly said at Autumn, careful not to make it so the whole cafeteria could hear. Kylie and Autumn ate their lunches in silence. Kylie's charm hadn't worked on Autumn. 'What the heck?' she found herself asking in thought, 'it works almost every other time...' Luna was Autumn's second best friend, next to Kylie. Luna looked so much like Autumn, just taller and different eye color. Luna hadn't gone to school as she was homeschooled. After school that day, Luna and Autumn went outside as Luna was willing to help with the garden. "No need to help Mom today," Autumn said to Luna. "She's sick." ṡѧƿһıяѧ, the last dragon, was to be seen in a forest, clutching her one last sister. Her siblings and parents had died, along with the rest of her kind. 'She's the last hope,' ṡѧƿһıяѧ thought. --------------------END OF CHAPTER 1-----------------------------
