Hello there, and welcome to my Outbreak Simulator! This simulation is supposed to find the effects of an outbreak, and find out whether the infection will spread, leaving a trail of dead cells, or the population gains herd immunity. PRESS SPACE TO USE PRESETS, PRESS UP TO CANCEL PRESETS. Red: Infected Orb There is 1 infected orb at the start of the game, and they will slowly infect other orbs, until either the orbs go extinct, or the infection dies out. Infected Orbs are faster than Healthy Orbs, and will eventually either die, or transform into an immune orb. Which outcome occurs is dependent on the survival chance. A chance of 1 means that all infected orbs will die, and a chance of 100 means no orbs will die. Green:Healthy Healthy orbs can be infected, and are slightly faster than infected orbs. If they touch an infected orb, the chance of them becoming infected is determined by the transmission rate. Blue:Immune If the survival chance is above 50%, infected cells will mostly become immune, so they cannot become infected. The immunity will eventually wear off, turning the cell back into a healthy cell which can be infected. Immune Cells are faster than regular cells. Black:Dead If the survival chance is below 50%, chances are most infected cells will die. Dead cells do nothing, and are not very interesting.
NOTE:If Survival Chance is set to 1%, this will actually translate to 0%, as there is a 1% margin of error in this, and 100% survival rate will actually be closer to 99%. Iigma is also in the game. Arrow keys, up/down for transmission rate, left/right for survival chance Top Right is Survival Chance Bottom Left is Transmission Rate Top Center: Left is Infected Percentage Right is Dead Percentage Bottom Center: Left is Healthy Percentage Right is Immune Percentage NOTE:My virus presets are approximated for mortality, and I multiplied the Yes yes yes, I'm aware of how HIV is transmitted okay? Don't report me please. Thank you very much.
