And my art did improve. Tracing isn't a productive or healthy way to improve, and really it doesn't improve your art at all. I think how i got better was studying other's art (not tracing), just looking at it, and seeing how they drew it. Like, using reference. I mean, I went over one summer from drawing things I wish I'd never made, to drawings that I will treasure for a long time. You can improve, and you will, but only if you try. Don't think that you will automatically be a famous artist, because that almost never happens, sorry to break it to you. And hey, I'm not saying I'm famous! really, I'm not at all. but I still know that I can appreciate my art and also get people who like it, and that is a huge step forward for me. There will be art pieces, animations, sculptures, 3d models, all that aren't the best. But that doesn't matter. Make more art, study your role model's art, get advice from YouTube or friends. You will improve, but only if you keep going. Improvement isn't over a day. It can be quick, but it's not that fast. I mean, i improved so much in just about a year!
