coustume 1 - stars like the sun products energy moving with the matter someway called of "nuclear fusion" all the stars are basically hydrogen on the center of an star the hydrogen is compressed under such pressure that turns into other gas called helium. costume 2 - it takes four hydrogen atoms to make one helium atom but not all of it is consumed - a little bit escapes as energy although each reaction is very small. there is enough helium production to release all the light and heat of a star the stars go on until they consume a lot of their hydrogen before dying they start to produce different chemical substances by fusing helium when the big stars explode the iron melts in the explosion making all the other elements in the universe when a star explodes all the elements made in the stars scatter
