Because of the way books are written, people often just don't like the villains of the story. Like children, or adults even. People don't really think about Why, the villain does these things,, whether they have, just like the main character, a whole story to tell. And just like the main character sometimes makes mistakes, the villain will sometimes make them. Yet, why are they the villain? Because no one understands them or resonates with them, no one tells them that these things are wrong. Oh well, this is why I love villains so much. Not everything is prince charming and princess beauty. There's always something deeper than that, a dark secret to the supposedly heroes, and a lighter one for the antagonist.
