November 20th, 1992 Two friends were taking a stroll through the city streets. One was a lanky blue hedgehog and the other was a short orange fox. As they walked, multiple people got excited and ran up to them. These people kept mistaking the two friends for another dynamic duo, Sonic and Tails. The hedgehog and fox were very confused. They didn't know who Sonic and Tails were. However, they soon found out at an electronic shop. They watched as the two heroes waved to the audience on TV. They seemed so happy... The friends listened as Sonic and Tails told the story of how they met, saved animals, and beat Robotnik. The pair became instantly obsessed with this kind of fame. Unfortunately, they didn't quite get the message. Slash and Hack were cold-blooded killers, who stalked the alleys and hunted whoever came their way. They were also put into an asylum for 2 years before escaping. So when they saw this they decided to hunt people who they believed to be like Robotnik, rather than stop actual villains. And that's what they have done since then. Of course, none of their targets were as powerful as Eggman, so they constantly moved from target to target. Although, they may have found someone who might be a better fit for the role... Not my best writing yet, but I like the story still B) btw the guy in the background is named Rotund Nick lol also, hack's original name was gonna be sniper (kinda like swiper, who's also a fox B)
