Basically it means the person hosting the DTA has characters that don’t want/need and they are going to let people adopt the characters, meaning use them as their own character. In order to participate you have to draw the character(s) that you wish to adopt and follow the DTA rules. DTA’s are usually held as competitions, where multiple people enter and the host chooses the winner. If you have any questions about DTA’s or this DTA in particular, comment on this project or on my profile. My DTA Characters The characters featured in this DTA are TwigBerry and GoldCry. I just came up with them randomly the other day. I have come up with backstories for them, but feel free to change them. If you want, you can also change their genders or their names. GoldCry is an elder, idk what clan she lives in but she was in a war when she was a young warrior, and it has hung heavily over her ever since. She is serious about everything, and is often very bleak. She tells kits stories and sometimes accidentally gives them nightmares. TwigBerry is a young warrior, again, idk what clan she’s in. She is energetic and optimistic, and her bright personality can be infectious. She’s always looking for a silver lining and trying to keep morale high. She’s good at climbing trees. DTA Rules 1. No tracing or copying, it must be your own art. 2. You have to comment before entering so I know you read all the rules and preferences 3. Must know the code word to enter, codeword is goose 4. End of the DTA is June 4, extensions of up to a week can be requested 5. You can draw both, but you don’t have too 6. You have to enter on scratch, via remixing this project or sending the link to the project to me 7. Have fun drawing! DTA Preferences 1. Full body is preferred, but I won’t mind if you just draw the head. 2. If you decide to change the backstory then I’d love to see it! Put it in the project or the project instructions/description 3. I’d like it if the character was doing something, like climbing a tree or taking a nap, but this preference isn’t as strong as the other two 4. Second codeword is feet, so the two codewords are goose and feet, hide these words in your comment in a jumble of random words or a sentence
