This demonstration is split into two halves: The first sequence is the first 10 seconds (stopping when the apple accelerates to 70 m/s). You can observe the apple is nowhere near the halfway point. The second sequence is the next 10 seconds, where the velocity reaches 140 m/s and the apple reaches the finish.
