Remix and tell me your answers! :) Credit to all those before :) This is random but when I was rereading this, I went back on the languages thing, and I just want to explain that a little more. I am biracial, my mom Asian and my dad Italian. As I mentioned before, my mom is Asian, but her family (and herself) grew up in Argentina. Because of this, her family spoke Taiwanese (Mandarin) at home, and Spanish out in public (they went to Chinese school, they were not required to speak Spanish there). Because of this, my mom was bilingual. Then she got older and started to look for colleges, and she found one in the US. This was when she started learning English. Fast-forward many years, and she is graduated from college with a doctorate (slay), and completely fluent in English (she still has a bit of an accent, but her English is VERY good). Because my mother knows so many languages, I was also required to know these languages. She taught me, and after many years of language school (and my mother speaking the languages to me instead of English), I too was fluent. Now I am able to communicate with my mom’s side of the family. :) For my dad, born in grew up in Italy! Moved here to the U.S from Baveno, Italy for college as well. For others, I highly encourage learning new languages because it’s a great experience, and it’s fun both learning and knowing the language! I am finally able to communicate with my family now, and it’s super helpful if you ever need to communicate with someone that does not speak your language. I’d love to hear about your experiences (if you have any) in the comments! Thank you so much :)
