So this is a fanfiction for @JaggyFox Please don't read it unless you are Jaggy, thanks Story: Jaggy brushed her dark brown hair out of her face. She’d been wandering the forest for hours. There was still no sign of him. “Gold, where are you?” She muttered under her breath. Jaggy’s friend Gold had been missing all day. The two had been traveling together before he vanished. Gold’s sudden disappearance left Jaggy terrified. What if something terrible had happened to him?! “Gold?!” She yelled into the woods. There was no response. Jaggy fell to her knees and tried not to cry. Gold meant the world to her. Jaggy couldn’t bear losing him. The sky began to darken as Jaggy ventured deeper into the forest. She refused to stop. She had to find Gold. Half an hour later, it began to rain. Jaggy sighed. She was going to have to stop searching and set up camp. Jaggy quickly set up her tent and lay down inside. She was alone with her thoughts. The memory of Gold’s disappearance struck her like a dagger. It was only last night when Gold had gone missing. The two were searching a nearby valley for new pokemon. “Jaggy, can I ask you something?” Gold had asked. Jaggy looked up at him. Gold’s face was bright red. He was always flustered easily, but this time seemed different. “Yeah, sure,” Jaggy replied. Gold fiddled with his hands. “Well, I, Uhm, it’s difficult to put into words,” he said awkwardly. Jaggy swayed back and forth on her feet. “I mean, you don’t have to tell me now…it’s not like we’re going anywhere,” Jaggy suggested. Gold sighed. “I know it’s just that I like-” Gold stopped talking, “Hey, where’d my Cyndaquil go?” The two looked around for a second. “I, I’m not sure. I haven’t seen it recently. I naturally assumed you had it.” Jaggy said, confused. Gold put his hands over his face. “Oh my god, we have to find it!” Gold exclaimed. He turned around and ran towards the woods near Lavender Town. “Gold, come back!” Jaggy yelled after him, but Gold was already gone. It’s been a whole day since Gold went missing, and Jaggy was no closer to finding him. Jaggy closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep, but she was awoken by a blood-curdling scream. “Gold?!” She called out. A fainted voice replied. Jaggy quickly got up and ran out of her tent. The rain poured down on her, but Jaggy didn’t care. All she wanted was to find Gold. Jaggy called out his name again. There was another response. Jaggy continued to run after the voice. “Where are you-” Jaggy started to ask, but she stopped. In front of her was Gold. He was leaning over the ground while crying. Jaggy inched towards him. “Gold?” She asked. Jaggy put her hand on his shoulder. That’s when she saw it. Gold’s Cyndaquil was lifeless on the ground. Blood covered the damp forest floor. Jaggy brushed her wet hair out of her face. “How, how’d this happen?” Jaggy asked. Her voice trembled. “I don’t know. I just found Cyndaquil on the ground like this,” he answered. Jaggy sat next to him. She crossed her legs and looked up at the rainy sky. “You know, I think I have an idea of what you were going to tell me yesterday,” Jaggy laughed sadly. Gold looked up at her, Gold’s face once again was a bright shade of red. “You do?” He asked. Jaggy nodded. “Here’s my answer,” Jaggy said. She put her hand on Gold’s face, “I like you, too,” Jaggy leaned forward and kissed him. When she pulled away, Gold smiled and pulled her into a hug. “Everything is going to be ok,” Jaggy muttered. The End
Sorry, it took me so long to get this done. I've had tons of messed up stuff happen with my family recently and my mental/physical health. Things are all better now, and I'm going to try and become more active as Phone guy.
