Press the Green Flag. Press 's' to start, and then enter the number/sum you want to make (0 - 20). After all of the yellow counters on the left are placed on the right side of the screen, each time you press space bar it will show the next way to make the same number/sum. Keep pressing space until all possibilities are exhausted. Press 's' to restart and repeat. Once you have these instructions memorized maximize the screen (the four diagonal arrows at the top right of the graphics screen).
Please note: This program is a big buggy because I wrote it hastily. I am a public school teacher finishing up state requirements for my teaching credential, I wrote this program to help me teach some Common Core math standards in the midst of a lot of other commitments to my job! I apologize for the bugginess! For example, if you restart (pressing 's') before all the sums are shown, the calculations will become corrupted. There's a few other little problems too. But, the program works fine for teaching purposes! Just press the green flag to do a true restart if you run into problems. Maybe I'll debug in the future! 10/19/2002
