Here's the gimmick for this battle system: on the bottom of the screen is an energy meter, as you graze bullets or take damage, it will slowly fill up, eventually reaching a maximum of 20. this gimmick is pretty much just like the one in OMORI. Follow-up attacks: Majinkyoku: [Pass to Kuroji (energy : 3)] Majinkyoku signals Kuroji and fires a Red buster towards him; Kuroji will Swing the buster towards the enemy. [Pass to Shinkyoku (energy : 4)] Majinkyoku signals Shinkyoku and fires a Red buster towards her; She will catch it, then dunk it onto the enemies. [Pass to Gloomiere (Energy: 2)] Majinkyoku signals Gloomiere and fires a Red buster towards him; if he notices in time, Gloomiere will eat the buster, then spit it back towards the enemy, otherwise, it will hit Gloomiere and greatly lower the light level of his lantern. [Dual release (Energy : 10)] Majinkyoku and Kuroji will both unleash their overdrive attacks at the same time without using up the overdrive gauge [Release full power ( Energy : 20)] everyone comes together and attack all the enemies with all their overdrive attacks. Kuroji: [Trip (Energy: 1)] Kuroji will trip an enemy before they try to attack; this will lower the enemy's speed. [attack again (Energy: 2)] Kuroji will attack an enemy a second time. [Focus (Energy: 3)] Kuroji will focus on the enemies. he'll do more damage and have a higher accuracy next turn. Shinkyoku: [Support Majinkyoku (Energy: 4)] Shinkyoku will get Majinkyoku to attack early. as he prepares his attack, she'll light his knife on fire,Freeze it, or hit it with a bolt of electricity, so that his attack deals more damage, and induce a burned,Frozen or paralyzed effect. [Support Kuroji (Energy: 5)] Shinkyoku gets Kuroji to attack with her. the attack lowers the defense of the target. [Support Gloomiere (Energy: 3)] Shinkyoku psyches up Gloomiere so that he'll attack early. this follow up will make Gloomiere happy. This also wont lower his lantern's light level. [Dual release (Energy: 10] Shinkyoku and Gloomiere will both unleash their overdrive attacks on the enemies. Gloomiere: [Signal Majinkyoku (Energy: 4)] Gloomiere will signal Majinkyoku to reignite his lantern. If he notices, he'll reignite the lantern and Gloomiere will become happy. Otherwise, Gloomiere will attack out of anger. Gloomiere will become angry as a result, and the light level of his lantern will decrease by a bit. [Signal Kuroji (energy : 5)] Gloomiere will signal Kuroji to distract an enemy so he could sneak attack. Kuroji will snag the enemy's attention and Gloomiere will attack the enemies. This will ignore 50% of enemy defenses. [Signal Shinkyoku( energy : 7)] Gloomiere will signal Shinkyoku and silently ask if he can drink a bit of her blood. If she accepts, he will syphon a bit of her health and magic to recover some of his own; this will also increase his speed and defense. If she declines, Gloomiere will become sad and attack an enemy, which will lower his lantern's light level.
