Inhaling a sharp breath, Cryonis stood inside the glowing train car, indigo gaze peering through both her glowing crow mask and the stained yellow-orange windows. Multicolored cape drifting atop the seat, they found the courage to whisper the words, " Bullet, we've.. got this, right? Nothing else to go over? " Though she acted strong, she actually took on more of the anxious trbute's roles... nervous about what was about to happen. Though the two were prepared, the idea of all the shining lights clouded her mind quite a bit. The train car was glorious, and so was he. Prepared for his aerial dance and singing, Bullet looked at Cryonis with a confident smile, flicking a speck of dust off of his cape collar. "We've got this, trust me. I know two cats who are gonna make the Capitol love 'em, and they're right here," he said, patting Cry's shoulder. There was no way those Capitol cats would boo them. Their act would be marvelous, absolutely marvelous. The stylists had done well, and they had practiced hard. They had this act in the bag. Cryo nodded confidently, lifting her chin. " Yeah! We're, um.. Gonna slay this party. " Waving her tail, they edged slightly closer to Bullet. As the noise went off outside.. it signified that it was time already. Inhaling sharply once more, she got off her seat, attempting to bow to let him through the door outside. " It's our time to shine, 'llet. " / We've got this. No question- bullet is right- right? / His smile became broader as he heard the cats outside. They were watching, waiting ever so patiently just for them. And he would give them what they deserved, what they wanted so badly. "And shine we will," he said, stepping outside and stretching his arms out wide in the brightness of the train car. He climbed the ladder to the top of it and waited for Cry to climb up with him. /We've got this. No problem./ Cryonis followed after him, dancing among the ladder. Jumping up the final step, she stood by his side, pelt illuminated by the glimmering lights. Blinking, she spead out her paws, tail waving. Though fog curled around- it didn't hurt to look a bit more dramatic. The fog was dense, but they could clearly be seen- that was what Bullet liked. Their train car was lit up against the darkness of the night. They were /impossible/ to miss. As Cryonis climbed up the ladder, Bullet skipped to a long white aerial silk. It was beautiful, as he would surely be as he performed upon it. Fiddling with his microphone, he got into position and waited for Cryo to do the same. Cryonis smiled at him, moving into position. Taking in another breath, the music began, causing her to start dancing- slowly, but surely. /Perfect- right on cue/ thought Bullet as he raised himself on his silk. His wrapped foot was wrapped well, and he was sure his paw would not slip. He was in the air now, suspended only by his silk. Then it was his time to shine. A spotlight shone brightly on him and he began to sing, "Georgia, wrap me up in all your.. / I want you in my arms / Oh, let me hold you / I'll never let you go again like I did / Oh I used to say.." He spun and soared gracefully through the air as he sang, his eyes never seeming to leave Cryo. " I would never fall in love again until I found her.. " She sung with him, tail waving against her side. "I said I'd never fall unless it's you I fall into / I was lost within the darkness, but then I found her.. / I found you, " Voice ringing out, seeming to match his tone well, she continued her slow dancing, eyes locked onto Bullet. "Georgia, pulled me in / I asked to love her once again / You fell I caught you.." At this note, he soared gracefully down and picked up Cryonis. It wasn't planned, but it made the Capitol cheer. "I'll never let you go again.." he dropped her. "Like I did / Oh I used to say." He caught her again. Bullet spun and held Cryo in the air as Rafiki did Simba. It was quite easy, considering her small size. Cryonis flushed for a moment, then continued on, repeating the words, " I would never fall in love again until I found her / I said I'd never fall unless it's you I fall into / I was lost within the darkness but then I found her / I found you, " twirling with him in the air. / A fallen angel and a demon- yet I feel so comfortable here.. /
And together they sang the last stanza of the song. Bullet floated downwards as they did so, his voice soft so that Cryonis could be heard better. "I would never fall in love again until I found her / I said, I would never fall unless it's you I fall into / I was lost within the darkness until I found her / I found you." And now it was time for the last part of their act, the thing that would make them stand out. The bowed together, clearly seen through the fog. But the Capitol cats were still watching, still waiting. And Bullet knew what would quench their thirst for more. He grabbed Cry and ran towards the aerial silk while she wasn't expecting it. He raised himself and Cryo, and the Capitol cats watched in wonder as he pulled her close. And then he did it-- he kissed Cryonis. It was only partly because he wanted to. He knew the cats would eat it up. They would love the Bullet-Cryo couple. Floating back down, he bowed. Cryonis's entire face flushed hard, fumbling her paws around. Bowing, she attempted to pull herself together, backflipping back off the side and rushing back into the train. Following Cryonis, Bullet walked calmly into the train car, his orange and black cape swaying behind him. The light from the train car hurt his eyes a bit, but he managed to pull through. "So, how do you think that went?" he asked, sitting down on a small chair. Bullet listened as the next tribute went on and tried to please the cats of the Capitol. Cryonis stared him down for a moment, pressing her front paws together. " You k---- me- oh oh oh oh oh dear ahahah- " Flushing once more, she attempted to put the crow mask back on her a moment, hiding her face ( other than her eyes, which were shaking ). " ..B-but, they loved it, Bullet. " Cryonis looked flushed-- she probably was. He had never kissed anyone before, and he didn't think she had either. "Yeah, I know they did. Trust me, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve. I think we've earned ourselves a few admirers. Maybe we'll be on the news," he said, looking at the shaking Cryo. He was relaxed, unlike his partner. He didn't see the big deal. So what if he kissed her? " Yeah, yeah. Cool! Adm- admirers. " / Tricks up his sleeve? What is he pulling at? / Cryonis stopped shaking, placing the mask atop her knee. Inhaling another breath, she glanced out the window as the two pulled away, rocking the cart. END
