☼ A beautifully decorated transgender molly, with long fur that curled around aer gentle frame, shuffled anxiously in the dressing rooms. Aer designer put in stunning, sapphire blue earrings that complimented aer eyes. Sunny’s eye held the beauty of a summer day- and the other eye held the beauty of a midnight forest. Her fur had been curled and fluffed, for the optimal appearance. Then, then came in the dress. She slipped it on, and gave a little purr of satisfaction. The dress was wonderful. As well to match it, the transfeminine molly wore a golden heart locket around her neck. Then her dress. Oh, her dress. Aer designer had done an absolutely wonderful job on it. It was a drape of flowey rainbow patterns running along aer graceful body. It flowed down her shoulders and tail like a rainbow waterfall. She then felt the click of the train beginning to clack along the track. “Here we go,” Sunny chirped with an anxious, yet excited beam on aer face. The lights flickered on, and so did the props. Clouds lazily drifted back and forth, and she stepped out onto the grassy stage. The background was beautifully decorated and painted to look like a valley, with humongous and enormous trees and an ascending mountain with a cap of snow. And also with a rabbit painted on the background, who closely resembled aer stuffed animal, Chrysanthemum. She gracefully glided up, taking the microphone and addressing the crowd. “Hello ladies, gentlemen,” at this, the transfeminine molly gave a small and flirtatious wink, “Along with any other cats in the crowd. I am Sunny Flint from District 1, and I hope to entertain you all.” Ae swished her tail underneath the dress, and the lights dimmed. A tune to a song began playing. In her romantic, yet mysterious voice, she began singing a cover of, yes, Over The Rainbow. The audience drank in her presence. Sunny had, actually, taken advantage of the fog. You know how sometimes at concerts, they set out a fog so the light can catch on something in the air? Well, the same happened with Sunny’s setup. She took pride in aer clever thinking. After her enchanting song, instead of meaningless performances that seemed to have no point, in her very personal opinion, she talked about herself. Yes, herself. Why was that? Oh, well, to let the audience get to know her. And for sympathy to be built up. She had watched the Hunger Games ever since she knew of it’s existence. So? She also know that this was a tv show. Ae was all the more likely to get sponsors if viewers felt the need to help someone they believed that they knew. She told stories of her coming out, her siblings, aer thievery, her mothers… Oh, her dear mothers. She hoped that, maybe, possibly, they were both at home, watching their children on the screen. Water bubbled up in Sunny’s two-colored gaze, but ae just kept on talking. ☼
