I'm still trying everything to keep you looking at me — Once upon a time ... There was a king named Shahryār. His life is turned upside down one day when he learns of his brother's wife infidelity, as well as his own wife's even more flagrant infidelity. He has her killed, and in his bitterness and grief, he decides that all women are the same - cheaters. Shahryār begins to marry a new woman every evening, only to have her executed in the morning. This continues for a very long time, until Shahryār's own vizier's daughter, Scheherazade, volunteers herself as her next bride. On the night of her marriage, she tells the king a captivating tale but does not finish it. The next morning of her execution, the king decides to keep her alive for one more night to hear the end of the tale. That night, Scheherazade finishes the tale and starts a new tale, but doesn't finish it. The king postpones her execution again. And so, Scheherazade, for 1001 nights, keeps herself alive by telling a tale every night but never finishing it. At the end of the 1001 nights, Scheherazade tells the king that she no longer has any more tales to tell him. However, somewhere along the course of the 1001 nights, the king has fallen in love with Scheherazade. The king makes Scheherazade his queen, and they live their lives in bliss. ...
