arghh those hands be looking dEfOrMeD and SOMETHING'S up with my signature there yuck hello and welcome to my world so~ i lost my friggin ipad & now i have to use either kleki or my sketchbook i did kleki for a bit but i was never able to really make it look good so i did this one traditionally and i really don't know what to think- i mean it's ok but beelzebub's veins look too prominent i got inspo from the totem pole art for shattered stars they're looking at "butterflowers" which only exist in heaven ig they're kinda glowy what i hate: - clouds - hands - the veins - beelzebub's wings (they don't look like wings do they) - the blue paint smudges what i love: - the butterflowers yay - gabriel's expression - beelzebub's expression - the pose - the colors (though the clouds are too saturated) made the thumbnail on kleki music: easy - city girl ft. ry (ok finally something not rock) also i'm not sure abt the lyrics so tell me if there's anything iffy CHARACTERS & WORLD ARE BY @thefetteredpendant or @raindrum_ lil thing i wrote:
tw: none A LONG TIME AGO... Gabriel seemed to glide into the room, giddy with excitement and out of breath. "I found something!" They placed their slippery palms on their knees, panting. Beelzebub, startled, looked away from their reverie through the window. Clearly bothered, they said, "What now?" "Oh, come on! It's a surprise!" Their smile brightened and revealed their perfect teeth. Beelzebub rolled their eyes. "Fine." As Gabriel led Beelzebub on through the cloudy arches and wispy-smooth roads, the latter's gait was nowhere close to matching Gabriel's. The Demon trudged on slowly, far behind the Angel, who was moving in a pattern of sprinting a couple steps, then turning around to glare at the dark-clad one reproachingly. Gabriel placed a hand on their hip impatiently and waited for Beelzebub by a tremendous clock tower. "What now?" Beelzebub arrived after some time, bored out of their mind and blearily glancing around. "Now we climb," said Gabriel, now cheery, proceeding to grab hunks of the soft, cloudlike brick that made up the tower and hoisting themselves up. "They must be out of their mind," whispered Beelzebub softly, but followed Gabriel anyway. The climb, to the Demon, seemed to last for eons. Beelzebub could barely believe it when they were on the steep rooftop, only tethered to the ground by a cloudy mist which their sandaled feet gladly sunk into. And now Beelzebub finally understood why they had been brought here. Gabriel placed a soft hand on the Demon's shoulder and together they climbed the clouds which spiraled up into forever. The clouds were pinks and purples, firm but loose, drifting ever so slightly. With every step, the sky resembled a cherry blossom, an enormous petal specked with white and streaked with violet. "Close your eyes," murmured Gabriel. "Take a breath." Beelzebub's lids closed and they sighed slowly. Then suddenly, something beyond their eyelids started to glow. Softly at first, then brighter than ever. "Look." Beelzebub opened their eyes. Drifting down quietly were two butterflowers. The winged flowers hummed melodiously and flitted about from cloud to cloud. There was a deep pink glow around both of them, changing shape ever so slightly with each flap of their petals. "They're beautiful," whispered Beelzebub. "I know." Then, as if commanded to by some trick of the universe, one butterflower landed on the Angel's hand and the other on the Demon's shoulder. Beelzebub smiled. "Thank you," they told Gabriel. "This is beautiful." "We can stay here, you know." Gabriel turned their head slightly. "For a little." "What about for forever?" "For forever," agreed Gabriel. The two peered up into the wide, eyes half-open, knowing a silent mantra which which would beat in their hearts for the rest of their eternal lives.
