The bandit threatened his father to give Wave up and he refused. The bandit (unalived) his parents, stealing his mother's jewelry and leaving. After his parents died, Wave went out and got a job at an electronics store, having to work overtime to pay for the tiny apartment that he lives in now. His boss is quite hurtful, insulting him whenever he messes up, or when anything goes wrong, even when it isn't his fault. He doesn't have a lot of friends and barely speaks to anyone.
