The genie said, "If you cut down that tree, I will have no home", but if the weaver didn't cut down the tree, he would have a job to earn money and feed and house his family. The genie, desperate to keep his home, said he would grant the weaver one wish. The weaver, not knowing what to say, asked his wife who told him to make the wish for more arms, more legs, so he could work faster. But the wish was careless, inconsiderate, and when he went home with more limbs, he was beaten to death by his village, because they thought the weaver was a monster. ...
