I grumble as we walk to the daycare. "Mom, I'm 12, do I really have to go to the daycare?" Mom rolls her eyes. She's heard this question a bajillion times. "I've told you, honey, I can't bring you to my work meeting, and your little brother needs the company. You know how he is around robots." It's true. Benny is terrified of robots, and the daycare is run by them! I try think of a excuse, but i didn't need to. "Only kids up to the age of six can enter." A security guard explains. Mom tries to convince him to let me in. "Oh please, sir, I came all this way, and I have a meeting and I-" The security guard interrupts her. "Ma'am, I'm sorry but your child can't go. She can stay at the arcade, if you wish." Mom sighs and hands me 20 bucks! "Use at your free will, honey. I'll be back at 1." I can't believe it, 20 bucks! Benny however, is not so happy. "I don't wanna go!" Mom crouches down to his level. "Benny, I need you to be a big boy for mommy okay?" Benny hesitates, but nods. Mom stands back up and pecks his head, and does the same to mine. "Have fun, kids." This robot greets Benny, it had a sun for. head. As they walk into the daycare, the robot tells him. "There is only one rule in this daycare: Keep the lights on."
