Click to advance to the next picture. And yes, those are all the canon 2004 sets (Ultimate Dume is a combiner set, so he's not here, and Kraatu isn't canon). Krekka and the Toa Metru do have a few modifications. Krekka has some mods to the head to make it look better, and the Toa Metru have some redesigned arms to allow for more posing.
At long last... thank you to all of you who made it possible for me to reach 30 followers! As "promised," here is a reveal of my assembled Bionicle/constraction collection. It's a combination of MOCs, Bionicle, Hero Factory, and (because it was cheap on BrickLink,) a Slizer. 1. "The Good Guys" - While never given an actual backstory/lore, I've always thought of these MOCs as the good guys of the unwritten story. Moving from left to right, we start with the Mysterious Sentry, showed off in another project. Next is 70N-Y, an amalgamation of mismatched parts that must repair itself after its decommissioning. The tall white colored one in the back has no name, and is a modified version of the trumpet player from my band. The MOC in the middle is my representation of myself - Minethuselah, with a few modifications from the previous appearance in the band. Continuing on is one that I never named, but it was inspired by Susie from the Kirby games. The blue one also does not have a name. The final one continues with the trend of having no name and was something I built with some new parts I got. 2. "The Bad Guys" - I've always thought of these ones as having more sinister motives. The red Rahkshi is a new design I made it myself after taking apart the old one I made. The beast in the back with the horns was showcased in another project, and the skeletal CCBS figure beside it was made out of some spare parts at the request of a friend. The next silver MOC is the knight that I displayed in another project with a new head and arm design (though it's hidden), and the yellow Rahkshi is the same design I shared in a different project. The final one is an unshared MOC that has no name, but was build to "mimic" the style of the horned beast on the other side. 3. The Toa Metru and Matoran - The six Toa Metru are very special to me - they are the first taste I got of the Bionicle universe, when I got a used copy of "Mystery of Metru Nui" at school. The Matoran are a Christmas present from my mother (thank you, Mom!!) from last year. 4. Other 2004 Sets - This is a picture of all the other 2004 sets. All 6 Vahki, the two Dark Hunters, Dume and Nivawk, and my personal favorite Titan set, Lhikan and Kikanalo. (I'd recommend buying Lhikan and Kikanalo if you can find it for $50 or under or somewhere thereabouts, it's a really amazing set). 5. My 2001 Collection - As you may be aware, I have all 6 Toa Mata thanks to my uncle, who was kind enough to gift all of his Toa, Matoran, and Turaga to me for my birthday a few years ago. Makuta was something I bought myself (for a steal, as well!), along with the Nui Jaga. 6. Miscellaneous Constraction Figures - These are mostly Gen 2 sets. Piruk, Stronius, and the Slizer are all things I bought myself, but the rest are all gifts from my mother (back when Bionicle was still on shelves). Kopaka was actually my first Bionicle set, and I must say, he's still one of my all-time favorite sets to this day. 7. Hero Factory Sets - These are a few of my Hero Factory sets that I collected through various means. The two Furno sets were gifts from a friend who bought the sets when they were on shelves, Stringer is a set I bought while on a trip to Minnesota, and the rest are all gifts from my mother (who at this point has contributed greatly to my collection - thank you!). As mentioned multiple times above, my mother helped me get my collection to where it is now, whether it was taking me to the Lego store to buy a new set, or gifting me sets for my birthday or Christmas. I'd also like to give a special thanks to who helped me get to where I am now by hosting his Bionicle Studio, where I made many new friends who share my interests. e Let me know if I should start doing something with the MOCs that I built (like write lore or a backstory for them or something like that). I'll share my collection again if I get to 40 followers (assuming there are changes in it).
