After they had been cast to earth, the crystals were being searched for by a man named Hunter Withers. He had his first taste of power years ago, when the Dark Celestial had brought him the knowledge and strength to conquer the world. Now, he just lost all of that power. He watched the Fire Celestial end it for him, by somehow removing all of the power he had worked hard for. Then, the Ice Celestial had to help them because it was taking far too much strength. Both of them ended up dead, but not before casting all of the crystals to earth. He didn’t even have the space crystal to help him now, and they had even cast all balance and maximum elemental crystals to planets of their own, with the only way to get there being maps, each leading to the next crystal. Hunter studied his surroundings, searching for a sign of a near crystal. He was in some sort of snowy desert. It was the middle of the night, so if there were any crystals near him there would be some sort of glow or aura. A brighter glow would be found with the fire, lightning and light crystals. The dark crystal would suck light from around it, making it impossible to perceive but easy to locate. The rest of the crystals would have a soft glow to them. He saw a soft, yellow glow in the distance and decided to start there. After a long time of walking, he arrived at the source. It was a big village, full of happy citizens. He went in and found an old inn. He didn’t have any money, however, so he ended up just finding a spot in a nearby forest that was empty enough to sleep on. He was wearing a heavy set of armor, forged from an ancient metal called dragonsteel. Underneath, he had a warm tunic. He took off his armor and went to sleep. The next morning, he went out into the village and came across someone who was extremely strong. He realized this was going to be his best bet if he wanted to find the crystals and maybe even start his own army. He went up to the man and decided to take a peaceful approach, simply asking if he wanted to join him. The man declined, and he realized that if he wanted to start an army, it would have to be by force. So, he went up to the man, tapped his shoulder then punched him straight in the face. The man retaliated, but failed miserably as Hunter avoided the attack entirely, sending the man on his feet. He then knocked the man unconscious and dragged him out. No one followed.
After a few hours, the man woke up. He was in an abandoned shack Hunter had found when looking for refuge. The man looked around and realized he was tied up. “So you’re finally awake.” Said Hunter, hidden in the darkness. “Who said that?” “Calm down, I only require one thing from you, then I will let you out of your ropes.” “What do you want?” “Join my army and I will let you go.” “I already gave you an answer.” “Ok, but before I kill you, I would like to know your name.” “You’re gonna… kill me?” “I asked you a question.” “Ok! Ok. I will join.” “I still don't know your name.” “My name is… Abaddon”
