Evelyn sat up quickly, tears stained her face and her pillow. She was awakened from a nightmare by noises coming from her closet. She looked at her clock on her nightstand. 3:33am, the time being displayed was 3:33am. Evelyn ignored it and climbed out of her bed and walked over to the closet. She opened the doors to see a small box with a note. She ignored the note and opened the box which contained a necklace. Evelyn decided to read the note so she picked it up. ‘Dear receiver, this object is cursed, it will make your life miserable and you will become terribly unlucky. Whatever you do, don't put this necklace on. Signed Anonymous.’ Evelyn was a bit startled by what the note had said but decided to put the necklace on regardless of the letter’s warning. Evelyn grabbed the necklace and put it on. She heard a noise outside her bedroom door so she went to investigate. She opened the door and saw nothing. “Is this necklace haunted?” Evelyn thought.
