How about we recall the last week before the start of the summer holidays (for me) with this rather nasty fault-prone IMEMi Ascensores lift which I already remixed on this exact day last year? This time, it is not just slightly modernized, but pretty much almost fully replaced :DD by JACKSON LIFT GROUP DDDDDD: In this mod, the new logic is NewLift logic (no surprise here) because why not? You know, the rather weird lift logic which has the weird button flash when it arrives at a floor, along with the posh voice and the "Da-donk" arrival chime. It even has a new motor which sounds very posh indeed! At least this time they once again removed the wood panels, but they also didn't change the floor numbering, removed the basement recall, and made the door frame slightly bigger. Also the alarm works.
This lift was an IMEM then was replaced by Jackson at the end of October 2022. The reason why it says “2012” because the people who designed the panel made a mistake with the year and thought it was 2012. Breakdown List: -July 1st 2018: It refused to start after closing its doors and shut down by itself! Now we have no lift! Bravo IMEM! -July 2nd 2018: It fixed by itself! -July 2nd 2018: Same fault -July 3rd 2018: Fixed -January 9th 2019: Right lift goes to floors randomly at night and doesn't let anyone on the top floor (including Jon) sleep -January 11th 2019: Now it's fixed by itself?! -September 20th 2019: Left lift went out of sync -September 21st 2019: Fixed by itself -September 26th 2019: Alarm on the left lift has stopped working! -October 3rd 2019: The lift would free fall when going down 1 floor! -October 10th 2019: Fixed -October 14th 2019: Left lift would go to floors randomly during the night (and Jon and others cannot sleep) -October 20th 2019: Right lift automatically went onto bellboy mode during the day, and when you press the button, the lift would automatically shut down. -October 21st 2019: Before above fault fixed -November 5th 2019: Oct. 20th Fault fixed There has been no faults since because the flats caretakers took regular maintenance every week. After replacement but before cab refurb, no faults has happened, and flat caretakers took maintenance and care. After cab refurb, Orona undergo maintenance, but faults happen a lot as it’s so cheap. Cheaper than this project. New Lift Breakdown & repairs List: -November 19 2022: Voice slowed down by -40. -November 26 2022: Fan broke all of a sudden! And also Nov. 19 fault fixed. A YEAR AND A HALF LATER (13 June 2024)… Nov 26 2022 fault fixed! Also coincides with lift voice no longer working. And indicator broken. June 14 2024: Indicator is now working!! (And alarm bell sound and B Button is now broken, which luckily, the latter was fixed later that day) 15 June 2024: VOICE FIXED!!!! (And Jackson finally fixed the year on the panel!!) 16 June 2024: Nameplate now replaced by Orona and bell is now working at last. (Sadly door close does not work.) + voice slowed down (again!) by -40. 19 June 2024: Lift voice now broken and voice recorded by lift engineer who does not know English and another who does not know Spanish. 20 June 2024: Close button works! 25 June 2024: Orona is now bothered to fix the voice but still retain the lift engineer’s voice. 26 June 2024: Lift chime changed (to a long one!) and lift engineers voice removed. AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO KICK JULY OFF WITH A VOICE MALFUNCTION!!!! Next day (July 2) … lift engineers voice is back, albeit in Spanish only. And lift voice now broken thanks to malfunctioning voice from July 1. JULY 8 — THIS LIFT IS SERIOUSLY BODGED WITH 6 BUTTON NO LONGER BEEPING AND NOW THE 2 BUTTON DOES NOT WORK AND ORONA GAVE THE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT TO JACKSON LIFT GROUP!!!! July 10 - someone pressed bell so hard that it’s jammed and stuck on the alarm bell on. 12/10/2024 - THIS PROJECT HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED FOR A LONG TIME BUT NOW IT’S BEEN MODDED A BIT BY AN UNDISCLOSED CHINESE LIFT COMPANY REMOVING THE VOICE AND INSTALLED A NEW ALARM BUTTON. ALSO BY NOW, THE ALARM SOUND HAS WORN OUT ON THE MAIN BUTTON! ALSO REMOVED THE SPANISH LIFT VOICE. ALSO BASEMENT FLOORS ARE NOW ABANDONED AND NO LONGER ACCESSIBLE 14/10/2024 -mysteriously bodged with the Yugiohpro1212 logic. 01/11/2024 - to celebrate 2 years of this project, they changed the “0” on the indicator into a “B”! 11/11/2024 - indicator broke. 28/11/2024 Engineer’s Voice added (at least with one that does understand Spanish, and bodged it with the Yugiohpro1212 logic and voice) 26/03/2025 - indicator fixed - but into a cheap 16-segment display!! FROM 27/03/2025 THIS LIFT BROKE DOWN AND THE FLATS WERE SUFFERING ONE FINANCIAL CRISIS AFTER ANOTHER FINANCIAL CRISIS AFTER ANOTHER FINANCIAL CRISIS & SO ON. BECAUSE OF THIS, THE LIFT WAS NO LONGER MAINTAINABLE AS JACKSON’S PULLED OUT OF THE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT. IN EARLY AUGUST, THAT SAME UNDISCLOSED CHINESE LIFT COMPANY THAT INSTALLED THE NEW ALARM GOT THE CONTRACT AND MADE THE LIFT LOOK HORRIBLE. They took out the engineer’s lift voice and Replaced with a Chinese lift voice. Also, THEY GOT RID OF THAT NICE JUNGLE INTERIOR AND REPLACED IT WITH BORING STEEL! ALSO THE YUGIOHPRO1212 LOGIC STILL PLAYS ALONGSIDE IT. 20/01/2026 - indicator broke, also the Chinese lift company that was undisclosed is now revealed.
