This is Professor Nardon. No one knows why he exists or why he lives in such a horrible condition. Many say he was a Human, that made the gods angry and was punished with his current body. He looks like an old man with a moustache. Half of his face is robotic and his head floats in a misterious green liquid. He speaks through some speakers and moves with the help of some wheels. Professor Nardo works in a library or an archive and can help the player with a lot of information about the world. You could also add the feature, that Nardon manages the checkpoints a player has reached in the game.
