READ ME! SECTION 1 - How to play For a shorter description, Instructions, Notes, and Credits are here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/631131/ Update the log link: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/631936/ To play the game, you select the characters that cost the number underneath them in energy (bottom right) and they will go to their designated spots. If you don't have enough energy, don't worry, energy bolts will fall from the sky and are worth 50 energy a bolt. When a character is placed, Hover over them to find how much energy they cost to level up, which can speed up the projectile, decrease wait time, and increase damage dealt. Some characters might not be able to level up. The characters will automatically shoot at the boss and all enemies (toads) in the way. The projectiles will go toward the enemies and decrease their health. The toads slowly walk toward the edge of the screen, making you lose. Each toad has a different amount of health, with the max being 14, but each projectile is worth one damage point. So even if you have Bowser in a lane with a toad with 14 health, Bowser will only deal one damage point at a time. You may click on the characters to boost them, which gives them a special attack. When a toad reached a "Dad-mower" (left of screen) the Dad-mower will go toward the end of the screen, defeating all toads in the way, and if a toad goes to the end of the screen, without a Dad-mower, you lose the game. So far, you can't make infinite characters (yet). Character list: (for a shorter description: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/723339565) -Larry: (Energy cost: 75) Larry shoots generic magic projectiles, but his overall damage is more than most of the other koopalings. Boosting him will make him shoot a barrage of 40 projectiles. -Iggy: (Energy cost: 150) Iggy shoots faster projectiles, but the projectiles are slower than Larry's and the damage is significantly lower. Boosting him will make him shoot a barrage of 20 projectiles. -Wendy: (Energy cost: 50) Wendy is one of the few characters to shoot multiple projectiles. Her rings can generate energy when it touches a toad or the boss, and her regular projectile has somewhat similar stats to Larry's. Leveling her up will increase energy production, along with other things. Boosting her will shoot -Ludwig: (Energy cost: 175) Ludwig shoots homing blasts that track the boss, but it stops when it touches a toad. -Lemmy: (Energy cost: 100) Lemmy shoots the same balls in all of the previous Mario games. This time, the balls bounce enemies and bosses back, making it even harder to progress along with the snow power-up and the enemy slow event. -Morton: (Energy cost: 300) This koopaling shoots pink projectiles that stun any enemy in its path for a least one second. Out of all of the koopalings, Morton has the strongest ability. Boosting him makes him rapidly shoot large projectiles that will stun enemies in three lanes. -Roy: (Energy cost: 200) Roy has a different ability than the rest of the koopalings. Instead of shooting one projectile at a time or two like Wendy before a recharge, he shoots a small barrage of projectiles that is accompanied by the second slowest recharge in the game. Leveling him up will improve the barrage and when he is at his max level, his projectiles act like Ludwig's. -Bowser: (Energy cost: 500) Bowser shoots large fireballs with great damage and toughness, making him last longer after being attacked by an enemy. When boosted, he shoots a large fireball that passes through every enemy, even the boss, and then shoots three fireballs that act like Ludwig projectiles. Bowser Jr: (Energy cost: 0) Although the weakest character in the game, Bowser jr. is effective. When paired with Morton, the two can easily take down large clusters of enemies. There is a downside though, as Bowser Jr is tied with Roy for the second-longest recharge. Kamek: (Energy cost: 150) Kamek creates clones of Larry that will fight for you, rapidly shooting projectiles, but the Larry clones are weak though, disappearing when they touch a toad. koopa Cannon: (Energy cost: 250) The koopa Cannon shoots exploding koopa shells that deal massive damage on impact, and some splash damage as well. There is a catch, though, as it has the largest recharge in the game.
