Read Notes PLEASSEEEEEEEEE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Objective: Your goal of the "game" is to collect coins. As of now, there is no reason for coins since this is a Code Dump (explained in notes). However, if you reach 1,000,000 coins you "beat" the game (notice how I put quotation marks around my words? read notes to find out why). There are many ways to get coins. 1. You collect them off the ground - 1 coin 2. You get enough frames past to get coins - 5 coins 3. You get enough distance past to get more frames - 0 coins 4. You wait enough time to get some frames, distance, and coins - 25 distance, 10 frames, and 1 coin I will add value to these things later on. But for now, try to get 1 million :) (Btw if you wait out the whole thing by getting coins via time you are a crazy and I salute you) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Movement: Arrow Keys OR WASD Press "e" to add 100 coins (Do only to see the ending/testing) If you beat the game, click the green flag to play again (bug will happen)
All code and art were done by me. Music was given by Scratch or was found in my backpack (I don't know where I got it from). I do not own this music tho :( --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After seeing a lot of people doing art dumps, I made up the idea of a code dump! A code dump is like an art dump but just with code. You just showcase your code or "dump" your code into a project and turn it into whatever you want. These codes can be anything from a game to an animation, or even a script that makes your character hold a pew pew and pew it. Here, I made my Code Dump as a game in which you collect coins. I really only did this so I can understand how Scratch's blocks work and to see how blocks I never used work. I just came back to Scratch after about 2-3 years so this was kinda needed since I also joined a game contest. Now, since this is a Code Dump, I tried not to put too much work into it and so there WILL be bugs. One includes when you beat the game the end game music won't play until you try to play again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I do want to add more to this code dump in the future such as more features and things like that. These things include a shop, a pause button, etc. I made this in like a day or two so ya. As I said in the instructions, this isn't really meant to be a game and it isn't meant to be beaten since I really didn't make an ending yet (I don't think I will since it is a simulator game). But anyways, enjoy it still :) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From my information, I am pretty sure I kinda made the idea of a Code Dump. So if anyone else thinks Code Dumps are a cool idea, I am totally fine with anyone remixing this game to add whatever they want or making their own code dumps from scratch, on Scratch (bad puns). Making your own Code Dumps is a really cool thing that I actually support and a lot if you do. If you make your Code Dumps and somehow get really popular via the project then that would actually make me really happy since my idea helped make you popular. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One tip that I have is if you make a Code Dump and you spend a lot of time on it and you DON'T like how it is going, just publish it and be done with it. Code Dumps are meant to be fun and fast, so if you are taking a lot of time on it then it is not good. However, if you DO like how it is going, I recommend that you make it into a full real game on Scratch. If you think it is good enough, change it from a Code Dump to an actual game.
