Controls: W - Fire main engine Q/E - Fire lateral translation thrusters ("strafe") Spacebar - Fire laser towards mouse F - Fire explosive torpedoes one by one R - Fire Casaba-Howitzer torpedoes one by one G - Fire explosive torpedoes in pairs T - Fire Casaba-Howitzer torpedoes in pairs Click - Command deployed torpedoes to burn towards mouse X - Detonate all active Casaba-Howitzer torpedoes (make sure they're far enough away first!) Credits: I made all the sprites except for the asteroids. I can't find where the asteroids came from (they've been in my sprites folder for years) so if they're yours, let me know so I can put your name here. (also, if this kind of non-credit is not allowed on Scratch, also let me know so I can replace them!)
This is a simple project showing off some of my space weapon graphical effects. Now has an asteroid you can shoot (and get hit by!) Weapon notes: --Laser-- -Can be used to shoot down torpedoes and spent stages after launch -Fires volleys of two bursts if space is held down --Torpedoes-- -Have limited fuel; will burn in the direction of the mouse until the fuel expires, then coast until they hit the edge of the stage. -Can be shot down by laser, will explode on impact with asteroids. -If launched with F, they get their initial kick from solid rocket boosters, which are staged off after firing - those are the little gray things you see flying away from the torpedoes. G (pair launch) does not equip torpedoes with boosters. --Casaba-Howitzer-- -Bigger torpedoes which carry directional nuclear warheads. -Limited fuel; will burn in the direction of the mouse -Explode automatically in the direction of mouse upon reaching a safe distance from your ship.
