Happy Halloween everyone! To celebrate this gorgeous holiday, I thought I'd share one of my creepier stories...I hope you enjoy both it and Halloween! ___________________________________________ Lilith wondered through the forest; she wasn't sure where she was going but she knew it was somewhere. There was an enchanting voice, dancing through the trees, beckoning her closer. Deeper into the woods she traveled, the tress becoming thicker and taller until the evening sky was buried above the leaves. But she didn't notice. Her hair was threaded with twigs and her legs were covered in scratches. But she didn't care, all she cared about was the voice. She could see someone, running ahead. Weaving through the forest like a river. A branch stabbed into Lilith's cheek, leaving a gash on her left cheek. The blood rolled down her face and sunk into the dirt, and finally the voice came closer. Now that the voice had stopped singing, it was eerily silent. Goosebumps traveled along the back of Lilith's neck, and it was only then she realized how long she had been walking. The voice started again, and was behind her, singing hoarsely into her ear. "...come and follow deeper down, in the ground you won't be found."
I don't really write eery or horror type stories very much so any advice would be appreciated! Anyway, what's everyone going as for Halloween?
