Hiii, I’m a furry :00 Prolly not much of a surprise but yeah XD Anyways, here’s a dragon tail, hand paws, and ears I made. I didn’t have any fur though, or proper materials so uhh they’re all very not good ;0; Oh also, I hate sewing, so this whole process was not fun, but kinda worth it because some of it turned out pretty cool <3 Also as they are all different colours they really don’t match XD So, first the hand paws, these were made using a simple tutorial I found on scratch, and staring at images in pintrest. I know, very professional :0 So the first problem is that the fabric is… bumpy? Not really sure how else to describe it as it has like, raised bumps on it so yeah. But it was the closest thing to fur I had so I used it. The pattern was made by tracing my hand on some paper, then modifying the outline slightly and cutting it out. The paw pads are made out of decorative pieces from an old DIY quilt kit, this makes them very mismatched but I kinda like it! Kinda kidcore ish, but it’s unique! <33 I also stuffed all the toe beans so they’re very floofy <3 Honestly the hand paws might be my favourite as they look pretty cool and are super comfy <3333 Next, the ears. So… the ears are a disaster :3 uhhh yeah. They were made out of a toilet paper roll that I cut in half and then cut into points, I then sewed some pink fabric onto the front. (Yes, I used like a needle and thread to sew it onto cardboard. Literal cardboard. It was pain.) then I put a tiny put of stuffing, then I sewed on a little bit of pink fluffy fabric to be the ear floof. Then I glued some blue felt to the backs of the ears, and the ears themselves were done! But then I realized I didn’t have an extra headband or anything to attach them- sooo I took a pink flower headband, and I took my scissors…. And well I had an extra headband now! >:33 So I then sewed the ears onto the headband. Yes I sewed through cardboard. Again. It was even less fun as I couldn’t get the ears to stand up straight. So that’s it! Here are my kinda bent forward-awkward looking-cardboard-cat ears! <33 Last of all I decided to make a tail. For this I had at least watched a couple how to videos… but I ignored all of the instructions because I didn’t have the right materials. This was a bad choice. But I couldn’t get materials so I just went with it. First off I still had no fabric. This meant that I used a weird scratchy velvety pink material as it was the closest thing to fur that I had enough of. So I basically made a rube that got smaller at the end, then I sewed it inside out, flipped it, and stuffed it. It looked kinda cool so at that point I was happily freaking out <333 Then I realized, where in the world am I gonna hide this- (still haven’t solved that problem ;0;) anyways- I found a multicoloured pompom and sewed that onto the end for a tail tip, then decided to add a little felt bandaid. The bandaid is made of blue felt (same colour as the ears) and a blue button! I think it turned out pretty cute! Last of all I got a belt, and a LOT of pipe cleaners. Like I used every. Single. Pipe cleaner. That I owned. All of them. But it worked so it was all for a good cause :00 and I braided all the pipe cleaners together into one long thick pipe cleaner that I put into the tail for structure! This helps support the tail while I’m wearing it and makes it wag better <3 Then with the very end of the pipe cleaner I turned it into two loops and put this pink belt that I had through it! So now I had a wearable pink dragon tail! <3333 I love it sm even though it’s a little weird looking! <33 That’s it! Byee! :D
