Dreampaw was awoken by the sound of soft footsteps, a visitor at her cell. She lost her memory of the previous night, but it quickly came back to her. She scratched herself lightly to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. She wasn’t, making her frown. “Get up. It’s time for your court sentence.” A stern and recognizable voice commanded. Dreampaw stood up groggily and sighed. She wiped some dust off her bright orange jumpsuit and allowed the guard to handcuff her. The guard guided Dreampaw towards a large, pure white courtroom with one tall chair in the middle of the courtroom for the judge. A short gray tom was already sitting in the tall chair. Dreampaw looked around the courtroom and saw some jury members sitting behind her and to her side. “All rise,” The judge boomed. The court stood up and sat down again when the judge motioned his paws for everyone to. “Court is now in session.” Dreampaw looked worried as she was seated on the left hand side of the court. Angelpaw was on the right side expressionless, looking at the ground. Her “scar” looked as real as ever. “What is the crime the defendant has committed?” The judge asked. The prosecutor stood next to Angelpaw. “Th-the defendant assaulted a princess saint. The plaintiff claims that the defendant attacked her because the defendant was afraid the plaintiff was going to win the polls to become the next saintress.” He explained. “I see. Defendant, do you have anything to add to that?” The judge replied. The prosecutor sat and Dreampaw stood up. “Angelpaw is lying about me ‘attacking’ her. She was jealous I was going to win the poll and faked me attacking her with red paint as blood.” Dreampaw stated, unflinching. “And do you have any evidence for that?” The judge questioned. Dreampaw sighed. “No, your honor.” “Then I must side with the plaintiff,” The judge replied. “I sentence Dreampaw, daughter of the Saintress, to PROJECT RELIFE, where the defendant is forced out of heaven and onto earth.” Dreampaw let her tears slip past her face, turning into silent sobs. Who could blame her? She was being thrown back to earth. Multiple gasps of shock were heard throughout the courtroom. Even the guards let their surprise slip past their face. No one had been sentenced to earth before. No one. And while this was all happening, Angelpaw sat with a silent approach, her 'scar' showing off. She looked empty. As if all hope had been drained from her. Today was the day her sister would disappear, and it was all her fault.
