I'm aroace but also biromantic (aromantic = little to no romantic attraction) and tbh the only romance I've read is Twilight, which I hated, and some queer romance stories such as Heartstopper and They Both Die at the End, which I loved. Which I think is at least partly bc there are higher standards for queer romance than straight romance.
