AIM - Destroy all incoming enemy waves by placing towers. You can make their lives difficult by forcing them to take a long path. Fun difficulty is very easy! Try moving to Easy or above for a challenge. *** THERE ARE 3 MAPS TO TRY *** by clicking the large sideways arrows on the menu screen! Red Gatling Gun - Sustained but limited damage to ground troops. Green Glue Gun - Slows down a single enemy. Blue Missile Launcher - Splash damage and good air attack. Purple Tesla Turret - Large damage to close targets (ground or air) Here's some of the fun features: 1) Fieldrunner style pathfinding - Enemies spawn at an entrance and Will take the shortest path to an exit. 2) Towers can be placed on the map by clicking, and they dynamically alter the route the enemies can take. 3) Guns target the enemy closest to where they are currently pointing then lock on until they are out of range.
This is originally Griffpatch's Tower Defense (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/15200040/), I've mostly just added new turrets, enemies, and a map. Enjoy! Cash turret now works properly! Low damage, and gives a few coins as it shoots enemies. NEW "TURRET"! WALL! Stats: none This wall is exactly that, a wall. It just sits there, and stops enemies from passing through... Strategy: Since these are extra cheap blocks to place, you can purchase a ton of them to slow down enemies while only having a few turrets. NEW TURRET! CANNON! Stats: Costs 120 cash Heavy damage Great against tough units Slow reload Strategy: Combine with other turrets to maximize their effect, as they are very weak against lots of small units. Best cannon combo: cannons + rockets NEW TURRET! LASER! Stats: Costs 150 cash Long range Low damage Great support units Strategy: Since they do not do very much damage, combine them with hard hitting turrets like teslas or cannons. Their long range allows them to hit enemies behind up to 5 squares away! 1.13b: Doubled cannon damage, but reduced reload rate and increased range, to make it even more like an actual cannon. Also updated Super Heavy Imp and Super Armored Imp to be more susceptible to bullets (Gatlings & Cannons). 1.13a: Added a new map. This is becoming a serious project so far! :) 1.12b: Fixed some graphical issues, and finalized this version into something that's fun to play, without bugs. Yay! 1.12a: Finally got the cash turret working, updated cannon damage and made it turn and reload more slowly (again), and added a cheap, placeable wall that doesn't shoot at all. 1.11: Added the prices to every tool, moved a few tools so that they are all even, and updated the "selected" costumes for some tools. 1.10b: Updated the way Cashgun collects cash, it now works but it seems to one-shot everything. Will debug when I get some more time. 1.10: Added Cashgun, but it glitches and causes cash to go to infinity when it fires. 1.9c: Quadrupled laser damage, should be well balanced enough that you don't have to work too hard to beat the final waves. 1.9b: Realized that I should drop the fire rate of the laser and make it more like a fast firing Tesla, which balances it nicely. Now works but might need a damage boost. Also, it was not doing well against berries because the shielded berries have the highest resistance of all mobs. Tesla ignores resistance, so I made the laser be the same. 1.9: Dropped the laser's damage, but it is still op against everything except berries (I don't know why yet) 1.8: Added Laser, but it is waaaaay over powered. I need to revisit the stats. 1.7b: Cannon was under-performing, upped damage by 13 to increase effectiveness. 1.7: Cannon is still under and over powered, so I increased damage and range slightly and decreased fire rate. 1.6: Cannon is over powered and under powered at the same time (fires too quickly and does too little damage), so I reduced the rate of fire and turn rate and increased damage. 1.5: Added cannon. 1.4: Started making the new laser, but couldn't get the tool to work for it. 1.3: Added two new enemies, will add more soon. 1.2: Added two more upgrades for all the other turrets. 1.1: Added two upgrades to the Tesla turret, working on other upgrades.
