-Prologue: Athena comes into the searcher base late at night after a long day of fruitless searching. She heads upstairs to her old but wise sensei's room for her nightly debreifing/motivational talk, but stops outside the door when she hears her commander quietly conversing with her sensei. (Dialogue Note) [All hushed and heard as if through a door] *Commander: This girl you trained... - Sensei: Athena - Commander: That's right. Athena. Well, I'm sorry to say, she's useless to us. - Sensei: Sir, with all due respect, you should reconsider that... All she needs is more time! She is the most capable one we have! Commander: Well Sensei, you will no longer need to worry about her. The Council has sceduled her termination for tomorrow. - Sensei: No! You can't terminate her! She is our only hope! - Commander: It was the Council's decision, not mine, as soon as you are done with your nightly debreifing, you shall releive her of her rank and turn her over to me. I will be waiting outside. That is all Sensei. - Sensei: [Furious] You will regret this! After the Commander leaves, Athena steps into the room, crying. (Dialougue Note) Sensei: What is the matter Athena? - Athena: [Devastated/Enraged] Don't hide it from me! They're going to terminate me tomorrow! - Sensei: [Calmly] You were listening weren't you Athena? I'm sorry. I have no choice. He is the Supreme Commander. Please, hand over your gun and your HoloCube... Athena complies, sobbing. Sensei clamps his hand over Athena's mouth and hands her back the two items. (Dialogue Note) Sensei: [Whispering] Go! Run! Take the back door! Get as far away as you can! Remember what I have taught you! Athena nods, clipping her pistol and HoloCube to her belt, then hugs her Sensei before fleeing out the back door into the night.
