[full screen for better quality] - - - - - Zenith could understand his once-brother's grief and desperation. He wished Molly could come back, that she had never left, that all this madness didn't have to happen, that all would feel right in the world as it once did. He missed her, too- longed for all these things, yet not in the same way Cherry did. He was told what had happened- how their beloved sib had been lost to those monsters that plagued their world. He wished he could do something about it, but understood it to be far too late. Zenith admired his once-brother's determination- how he clung onto hope they had all believed to be pointless- an admiration greatly contradicting how he forced himself to throw such optimistic nonsense away. Like the others, Zenith knew Molly was beyond saving. She was too far gone, despite how he wished it wasn't so. His siblings didn't know the half of it. - - - - tldr; Zenith and Cherry got different understandings of things, and different goals
