UPDATE: It's not gonna take less than 128 Days to complete Ellie Expedient, so as of now, this project isn't exactly true. While I will still consider leaving several medias in 2023 and start to space myself, my plans for leaving scratch won't happen right away in Q2 of 2023. Short (and also slightly big) talk in regards to future stuff and what's currently happening. and also final N64 redesign (i swear)
Transcript for those without audio: 128 Days before I both leave this website and get out of high school. Yes, this project isn’t a joke, but if the statement turns out to be false in the foreseeable future, then I don’t know what to say. I am Noobs, and as you may know, or should know by now, I am a Senior at my high school which means that I’ll need to choose a direction for where I’ll need to go and place effort towards the thing I would like to do at my adulthood. Luckily, I already have that settled out with a future career as a Video Game Programmer/Designer. Not only that, but with things such as crazy projects, exams, and the occasional scratch game development have me locked into my brain and are what I need to do and finish. Ellie Expedient is aimed to be finished by at least May/June, and I still hope for that to be a reality. You might also be wonder why I’m leaving the site, and it’s relatively easy to sum up. I no longer want to be associated nor with the scratch community by the month that Ellie Expedient releases. After I’m finished with the game, I aim on leaving the site and its community as a whole. This will likely extend to other medias at an extended date that I can’t mention here because I’ll likely get the boot, but you’ll likely know what they are if you do your research or see me on them. This is so I can get a fresh start of some sorts and try and make a name out of myself other than being known as “The dude who helped make Codebreakers” or “The guy who won SSS Signups”. As cool as these sound on the surface, the only real question is if these achievements will really mean something in the future. This would also give me the chance to try out other game engines such as Godot, Unreal, & Unity without the need of having to do something scratch releated. Not to mention that I would like to make video games consisting of new and old characters for hopefully many play and view as well as expanding on said series, and for one of these series to aim on being on a popularity level similar to that of A Hat In Time & Shantae. Oh and with me being in College, I don’t even think I’ll have the chance to talk and chat here with the amount of stuff I’ll be needing to do by then. So it’d be pointless to still be on. Anyways, that’s about all I’ll say. Hopefully you guys and girls will understand what’ll happen these past months and hopefully respect the decisions and routes I’m taking. This is Noobs, signing off… see ya!
