This was a fun looking design so I decided to enter the DTIYS contest! :D ============ ↓ Art process below ↓ ============ #1: Final Product 1 #2: Final Product 2 with border #3: Sketch in marker #4: Started the hair and skin, a bit of early work on the face #5: Started detailing hair and face, started on the clothes a little (those eyes are scary though lol) #6: Made the shoulder covering puffy, added an arm and worked on the hair a little. I used a different brush for the shoulder covering fluff, so it looks a little wonky #7: Made the colors more vivid, added some shading and the hair accessories #8: Background and wing work. #9: More color contrast and a lot of background work. I wasn't really happy with the butterfly's placement so I messed with it a little and added a few light effects #10: Finalized watermark, added final touches (texture, chromatic aberration, color adjustment) and made the hair a little smaller. (Back to the first slide :D) : Finished product no.2 with a border and some dust effects added (second slide) Brushes Used: Custom Brushes (Watercolor and Marker mostly, as well as the rake brush) Honestly I don't think this is my normal style and I'm not completely satisfied with the product but I tried lol
