the heights are probably really inaccurate but I tried my best loll shosty is 5'6", and i looked up the average height of an english male born in late 1800s and i got average around 5'8" (which makes him the tallest, didn't expect that loll but its because i couldn't find any information about his height sadly) and the rest of them are really short like 5'0"- 5'5" also strava and beetho are crouching or kneeling a bit so ye ive wanted to make a group drawing of them because i think they would make a very cute and interesting faculty :) i am considering starting a webcomic of them where they get another chance at life after they die except they are born in the 21st century in a world of just composers, and their ultimate fate is to work at a boba tea shop its just that i don't have any plot or anything and i have no idea where this idea should go loll i don't even know some of their personalities very well so it will probably be pretty inaccurate i did plan out all of their jobs and stuff idk how a boba tea shop functions but ye the boba tea shop is called fortea because of course it has to be music themed i made a ref in my sketchbook for their uniforms, it is a white dress shirt, tucked into dark gray/black pants and a dark green apron on top. that has the straps cross in the back OK SO LORE TIME-- shosty - shosty is a pretty interesting character. he suffers from ptsd from his past and really wants to forget about it because the soviet union doesn't exist anymore but can't. he appears quite cheerful and friendly to everyone at first, but soon starts having panic attacks and stuff :( he has a good sense of humor and enjoys good literature like strava. because they are the youngest of the group they tend to hang out with each other since they knew each other irl/in their past life. he works as the cashier alongside strava who is the server strava - because strava didn't really live in russia while stalin was ruling and was traveling elsewhere, he doesn't really have the ptsd shosty has. strava can be seen as very savage and roasts other people intentionally or unintentionally, but when you get to know him he is pretty cool and interesting. he loves russian folklore and literature as well as art. he can be seen as a radical by some even in his rebirth as he enjoys experimenting with different ingredients and making the boba teas they sell very unique and special. he works alongside shosty as the server (idk his personality i tried my best if anyone knows him better pls tell me i actually need help) mahler - mahler has always been fascinated at the meaning of life and death, so it is no surprise that he is coming up with theories and conspiracies and wondering why they were reborn to begin with, and what will happen to their existence from there. he is serious and gloomy at times, but is also quite neurotic and paranoid. working with holst as a barista, sometimes he can overwhelm him with thoughts but holst is always there to listen (and is secretly interested). shosty really admires him and looks up to him as a composer. holst - holst is usually pretty wholesome and shy. he still suffers from the neuritis in his right hand though it is greatly diminished (but he will sometimes accidentally drop the cup of boba he is working on) and asthma and also really trash eyesight. he loves walking and traveling just like his former life and never smokes or drinks (and is also vegetarian so ye). compared to the other composers, he is arguably more happy. he is shown care about his friends a lot but also likes to focus on himself and his interests too. him and mahler work as baristas, though sometimes mahler has to assist him in making the bobas but overall they make a pretty efficient team. mahler likes to rant about his visions and stuff and holst listens while scooping the tapioca pearls. brahms - brahms is the most serious, along with mahler. he can be seen as practical and slightly mysterious, but is really self conscious and has self esteem issues (like me). he is forced to work with beethoven, the one person he really doesn't want to be next to, as a supplier getting the ingredients and making sure everything is in stock. he constantly compares himself and beats himself up over Beethoven but also pushes himself to the very limit just to be as good at him (at anything, really). he despises wagner (because they were on opposite sides during the War of the Romantics and they are fighting over who is the real successor of beethoven), contrary to mahler and holst who deeply admire him. this sparks some conflict and tension between the three, though mahler and holst just keep it to themselves then rant about it and talk trash about brahms to each other after work loll (mostly mahler tho even tho holst is more outgoing with his closer friends)
