A locked-camera top-down spaceflight simulation featuring the Project Orion nuclear pulse drive. Orion is a very powerful propulsion system in which nuclear bombs are detonated behind the vehicle and a large, shock-absorber-fortified pusher plate is used to ride the plasma emanating from the explosion. It's a little crazy, but not actually as crazy as it sounds, and it would be possible with current technology if we wanted to build it. Those glowing wings on your ship are radiators, which are necessary since the pusher plate (and RCS thrusters) must be actively cooled. As you use anything that generates heat, the radiators will glow brighter, and their glow will fade if you allow them to cool down.
