(what should I name it??) || Chap 1 Regret. All I'm feeling is regret. I always thought I used my time well, and, well, I guess I wasn't. I don't even remember that night well. Who was I talking to? What did I even say? All I know is that if I had said too much, I'm doomed. Being a person who everyone in the city is looking out for isn't ideal. If I had revealed my identity, I'm going to be beheaded. I'm sure this Isn't making any sense, so I'm going to tell you what happened that night... Trying to catch my breath, I walked into the office building. It was unusual; the silence was too quiet, the breeze was too harsh, and the sweat on my face was freezing. If I had wanted to be professional, I sure didn't look like it. Being called here late in the night didn't seem that unusual though, since that has happened to me loads of times. I opened my phone to check the time. 1 am. Great. I sighed, walked towards the desolated lobby, and went in an elevator. I checked the location details on my phone. Floor 15. Wow, that was pretty high, since most of the buildings in that area didn't have that many floors. I clicked on the button that said 15, and stared into the mirror. My auburn hair was plaited messily. My glasses were askew. My deep blue eyes looked drowsy and tired. My clothes were another matter; I wore a short black skirt, which seemed to look professional in my eyes, and I wore a white top with a black coat. I bit my lip anxiously, waiting for the elevator to reach floor 15... A loud "ding" signed that the elevator had reached floor 15. The elevator doors slid smoothly open, and I started trying to control my breath. I started to look around for a door that said "Spy agencies". There were about four doors in front of me. One of them surprisingly looked like a rented out apartment. I wondered how anybody could rent out an office space as an apartment while pressing my ear close to the door. I could hear knocking sounds from inside. I made a confused face and went to the second door. That's when it hit me that all of these doors looked like apartments. Why would the agency manager lead me here, I wondered... It was very unusual to find a floor of an office building with rented apartments. So, pressing my ear on the other doors, I could hear nothing behind them. So, I held my breath and knocked on the 1st door. Somebody called out "Open!" and I went in.
