So, before anyone freaks out, I’m not taking a break, and I’m not leaving scratch. I just wanted to make a quick announcement about this. So, I’ve been looking back at my art, and I feel it’s lacking something in each and every drawing, and Because of this, from now on I’ll be posting things I’m truly proud of, not just ‘eh’ and put forth the effort to make beautiful and unique drawings. Though this means I will be posting much less often, I’ll still be online! The next two slides are examples of what I mean by more effort, (roughly) make sure to read the warning first. The first is the final The second is just the background. This is all hand-drawn, without a stylus or Apple Pencil. No paper sketch, all done online Each shape on the background is hand-drawn This is what I mean by more effort, I’ll be putting things I can actually be proud of, and actually enjoy doing, instead of the usual “guess I’ll get this out of the way” I’d been doing, Because I wasn’t enjoying it, it wasn’t challenging, and I wasn’t growing. I wasn’t making good art, or anything that I can actually be proud of and say “that was worth it” “That was fun” and “I learned a lot from this” So I will be posting less, but I’ll be posting actual content, actual content that I can show someone, say that I drew it and not wish I hadn’t, art I can enjoy.
