This time I have an AT with the super talented @zoru-, plus a little explanation of my art process. Make sure to follow @zoru- if you haven't already, and have a good day! 1. Reference Sketch: First I look at the shapes and patterns in my reference image, and copy them into a really basic sketch. 2. Final Sketch + Flat Colours: Next I draw a less rough sketch on another layer, making sure to put in all the important details. I lost the layer with that sketch, so its just where the transparent black guidelines are. Afterwards I put on some flat colours, adjusting them a bit to see what works with what I want to create. I also put on some basic shading on the skin, but its just a habit. 3. Rendering: I next merge everything onto one layer, and start firstly with cleaning up some sketch lines. (I cropped the Canvas later, but I adjusted the position of the tail to fit my plan for the image). I also put in all the required shading, including airbrushing in some basic highlights. 4. Final Touches: I draw in a background and put on some effects. Just the typical things. And that's it! Sorry this isn't that thorough, but I am really proud of how this piece ended up, especially since I'm not that good with perspective.
