Don’t overreact,” Rosie replied, rolling her eyes. Emily had brown, curly hair. She had sparkling brown eyes and peach skin. She was the youngest in her family, being only she was only 5-years-old. Her older sister, Rosie Carol, was 11-years-old and had the same eye and skin color, but her hair was black. The sisters’ mom, Naluma Carol, had black hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. Her husband was walking beside the girls, panting the whole way. The Carol family was on a hike in the Hamocuya Hills. In the hills, the family saw squirrels munching on acorns, tall trees hovering over bushes, and birds singing sweetly for the arriving spring. A few hours later, Emily’s energy started to wear out because she was so little. Then, they stopped at a field of rocks to rest for a few minutes. Meanwhile, Rosie and Emily's father went around, exploring their surroundings. A couple minutes later, he called out, “Ummmmmm, Emily, Rosie, Naluma?” he shouted. “I think you guys should see this.” The girls rushed to see what he was talking about and were stunned with what they saw. There stood a cave, with the complete and perfect carving of a dragons mouth. There were the nostrils, eyes and top fangs of it, and on the bottom were the bottom fangs. The inside was as dark as night. “I’m going to explore this cave, okay?” their father said. Everyone nodded, but his wife reminded him to be careful and to be back in five minutes. When he went in, the rest went back to the field of rocks to wait. Five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes passed but their father didn’t return. They checked the front of the cave, but he was nowhere to be found. Where could he have gone? to be continued...
