Ffffrrrf Chromebook camera go boom- This took so long (WHeeZe) I couldn't find the right color for her mane flower things lol Name: Quary Gender: Female (She/Her) Backstory: She lives in a pine forest with many other magical animals, who call her 'Mushroom Queen' because when she walks, blue mushrooms tend to sprout by her paws. She often gets heckled by Waflights (Squirrels with wings and horns) who say whenever they see her: "Make way for Quary, the Mushroom Queen!" and "Bow in the shade of her Mushrooms!" Then they roll around and laugh. But everyone got tired of the Waflight's taunting, and everyone stopped paying attention to Quary, only giving her dirty looks when she left trails of blue mushrooms on the grass. She wished she had friends. Her parents abandoned her when she was very young. One day, she was going to her favorite napping spot, a clearing near the middle of the woods, when she noticed someone examining the mushrooms growing in the clearing. It was a... Violynx? (Violet Lynx) But those lived on mountains... Right? Thought Quary. She had never seen another catlike creature as large as herself before. The Violynx turned its head around, spotted Quary, and called "Did you-" Quary ran towards the mushrooms, about to uproot them, and said quickly "Don't worry, I know they are weird and blue and disgusting and you want them out right away!" Quary almost started uprooting a rather large electric blue mushroom when the Violynx said "What are you doing?! We can eat those!" Quary stopped right as she was about to bite the mushroom and rip it out of the earth. "What? Everyone hates them and says they smell weird like me!" She exclaimed. "No, they're actually really delicious. Are you telling me you've never tried one?" Replied the Violynx. "Um, no I haven't." Said Quary. "Well, then we'll have to eat some for a sunfall meal today." Remarked the cat. "But first, introductions. I'm Breyze. And your name is?" "I'm Quary." Replied Quary softly. At the sunfall meal, Quary tried the blue mushrooms. "Why are these actually good?" asked Quary. "I don't know. But I have to tell you the reason I came here." said Breyze. "And what reason is that?" Inquired Quary. "We have a shortage of food up north, and the cats in my clowder are all dying." "Well, I have nothing to do here." Said Quary. "I can come with you." "You'd really do that? It's freezing up north, you know." Replied Breyze. Quary insisted she would join Breyze and go north. The next morning, they collected the mushrooms that didn't die from lack of water and sun. The two journeyed across deserts and hills, rivers and lakes, until they reached Breyze's home. Her clowder was still alive, all of them. Quary's mushrooms couldn't grow in all the snow on the mountains, so she lives in a grove near them, and visits quite often.
