- Underwater - Ch. 1 ~ A teenage girl with brunette colored hair, bright blue eyes, and ripped clothes emerged from the trees. “I couldn’t find them.” She said to another girl around her age, with golden brown hair, gray colored eyes, and ripped clothes as well. “That’s fine, we’ll try again another time. Let’s get back to base.” The girl with golden brown hair sighed. They both walked to base in silence. “Kaia, Skye, you guys made it back! It doesn’t look like you found them.” Said a boy a bit older than them, with short black hair and bright emerald green eyes. His clothes were also ripped. “Yeah.. ever since I turned sixteen I’ve lost touch with them.” Kaia answered the boy once they reached base. The No-Power Base was located in the No-Power land, near the Tribes. It was a large cave with many No-Powers, it was a place for them to live. “I remember when I was thirteen.. in the Sky Tribe.” Skye sighed again as they walked to their room in the cave. “I know. But that’s the past.” Kaia answered, having memories of the ceremony where she was declared powerless. She suddenly wondered how her family was. Where was Kai and her mother now? She thought. “Let’s see what the others brought for dinner.” Skye said, her stomach growling in the silence that followed. They headed down the cave, into the dining area. Makeshift tables and chairs were scattered around the room, and some people already sat, waiting for food. Kaia and Skye found a stone table and stone chairs and sat down. “I hope it’s fish.” Kaia said, her mouth beginning to water. “You ALWAYS talk about eating fish, was it really that popular in the Ocean Tribe?” Skye teased. “Well, I bet your tribe loves Cloud Birds, because that’s all you seem to talk about!” Kaia shot back mischievously. “Oh yeah-“ Skye was about to speak, but the hunters of the No-Power group entered the dining area with plants and tomato's. “Aw man, salad! We had Nature Tribe food last week!” Skye complained as she saw the salad packed in bags. The hunters grabbed stone plates and loaded them with salads, and went to each table doing the same thing. They came to their table, and plopped salad onto both of their plates, and walked on. “Well, at least they feed us here.” Kaia said, but she secretly wished they brought back fish instead.
