This is my first time making one, but I know what to do to make one. I know there are only 2 characters, but there will be more coming soon! Ok, now the part all you you know that there will be: rules. Make sure you read all the rules if you enter this DTA. -Rules- - Animations, traditional art, digital art, and realistic art are all accepted! Any type of art is acceptable in this DTA. - You can enter for as many characters as you want, but you can only win one per group (of characters) or it will not be fair, I need to give someone else a chance! - You can not change the type of animal the character is, but you can add a bio and/or backstory if you want to. - Don’t trace other people’s art. Tracing might be kind of cheating or something? (At least just for this DTA) But just focus on YOUR art style, don’t trace. - You can use reference images, as long as you don’t trace like the other rule. If you usually trace, just try out making something without tracing, it could be better that what you thought it would be. - You need to add your entry to the studio so it’s easy for me to know that you entered. If I see an entry that’s not in a studio, I will put it in the studio or it won’t be counted if I don’t see it. - Have fun drawing the character(s), and don’t worry if you don’t win, you have a chance to win the next characters! - If you have any questions, just ask! (Edit, 6 May 2023) - New rule: I’d prefer you not use bases, because it’s kinda like tracing but different (because you just colour it in). I’ll inform anyone who entered before this rule was made. - - - Edit (7th July 2023): To increase your chances of winning, you can: Make an animation Add lighting and shading Add as much detail as possible (for example, all of the markings that are on the cat) Add a beautiful background Make your artwork have a story (for example, the pose, background, or expression might show a story, and you can also make the backstory explain it further) Be creative! You can make it have a small accessory if you want (but not too much accessories lol), make it have powers, what you feel makes it more special and fun to see/read (if you’re doing a backstory) - - - I hope you have fun entering and have a nice day/night!
